Crispy, tart, green apples and peanut butter are such a great match and these "donuts" are the perfect no-guilt snack. Cut the apples into donut-shaped slices and top with healthy fruit, nuts, and seeds of your choice! Of course, we would choose hemp hearts!! Great for an after school snack or a light lunch.
Ideas for toppings: Blueberries, grapes, raspberries, coconut, raisins, hemp hearts, choc chips, mixed nuts, chia seeds.
Directions
- Slice a crisp green apple into 1cm rounds. Use a sharp knife or an apple corer to removed the seeds.
- Spread each slice with peanut butter.
- Decorate with toppings of choice.
