Banana Granola

Banana Granola

Never buy store bought granola again. This banana hempseed granola recipe is so crunchy and delicious! Sweetened naturally, aaand with no added oil! Healthy, natural, and filling whole food to start your day!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ banana mashed
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup maple or date syrup
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • Optional: dried fruit

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 160C.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl then add in the syrup and mashed banana.
  3. Spread in an even layer in a lined roasting dish and place into the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Remove and let the granola cool before crumbling.
  5. Sprinkle with with dried fruit and store in an airtight jar.
