A nutritious way to kick-start the day and give you long-lasting fuel - Crunchy Hemp Heart Granola breakfast. We used our vegan certified Kiwi Hemp Hearts in the recipe - a plentiful plant-based protein source with fibre, vitamins, and minerals such as magnesium, iron, zinc, and potassium. Unlike many other nuts and seeds, hemp seed is not a known food allergen.


  • 1 cup natural honey
  • 1 cup natural maple syrup
  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almonds roughly chopped
  • 1 cup hemp hearts
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup mixed dried apricots, raisins, Cranberries and apple
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon


  1. Preheat the oven to 180’C fan bake
  2. Warm the honey & maple syrup in a small pot or in the microwave for 1min to gently combine.
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients including hemp hearts in a large bowl.
  4. Add the warm honey & maple to the dry mix.
  5. Thoroughly stir the mixture.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly onto a lined baking tray.
  7. Place into the oven in the middle and bake for 20-35 min.
  8. Every 10 minutes or so throughout cooking give it a wee mix so the nuts don’t burn, we are looking for a nice even golden-brown look all through. If you have to pop it back in for another 5 or so minutes then do so.
  9. After cooking Allow to cool, place in an airtight container and eat within 1 month
