Hemp Chicken Bites

  • 1 ½ kg Organic free-range chicken nibbles
  • 35 g Hemp protein powder
  • 35 g Hemp hearts
  • 60 g Teriyaki sauce
  • 30 g Oyster sauce
  • 30 g Maple syrup
  • 30 g Tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp Fine dried onion flakes
  • 2 tsp Freshly ground coriander seed
  • 30 ml Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice


  1. In a large mixing bowl mix the hemp hearts, protein, sauces, paste and spices together and then add chicken nibbles. Mix well to cover the bits thoroughly and marinate for a minimum of 20 minutes or when ready to cook.
  2. Place chicken nibbles onto 2 flat baking trays lined with baking paper and squirt the tomato sauce in a zigzag pattern across, then bake on 200°C for around 30 minutes until cooked.
  3. Place onto a serving platter. Garnish with chopped peanuts & spring onions and serve with Asian slaw and rice.
