Vegan Cheese Dip (Queso)

Try this Vegan Queso! It smells and tastes just like the real queso dip but dairy-free. Packed with the good stuff – vegetables, hemp hearts, and hempseed oil. Delicious and nutritious! A perfect plant-based snack to serve with your favourite corn chips.

Ingredients

  • 2 Medium Potatoes
  • 1 cup Cauliflower Florets
  • ½ cup Nutritional Yeast
  • ¼ cup Hemp Hearts
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • ⅓ cup Soy Milk
  • 2 tsp Hemp Seed Oil
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Garnish
  • 1 Medium Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 Handful of Fresh Coriander (chopped)
  • To Serve
  • Your favourite Corn Chips!!

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and chop them into quarters, cut the cauliflower florets, and boil them together in salty water until tender.
  2. Drain and cool the potatoes and cauliflower to room temperature.
  3. Place them in the blender. Add nutritional yeast, hemp hearts, garlic clove, salt, turmeric, soy milk, hemp oil, and apple cider vinegar. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Garnish with chopped tomato and coriander and serve with your favourite corn chips.
  5. Enjoy!
