Fuel your body with foods that are going to support muscle development and promote overall well-being.
Venita, our Customer Services Manager, has really been putting in the mahi over the last year. She knows exactly what her body needs to get the right results and has shared one of her favourite recipes, overnight oats, with us.
Ingredients
- 165 g rolled oats
- 55 g chia seeds
- 700 ml kefir milk (I use The Collective brand but if you want to keep it vegan, use Raglan Food Co)
- 10 ml honey (I use Queen Sugar Free Maple Syrup)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 30 g Hemp Farm Protein Powder
- Optional
- 1 serve whey protein powder depending on your dietary requirements
- or, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder for taste
- To Serve
- 500 g frozen blueberries (or other berries of your choice)
Directions
- Weigh all ingredients except frozen blueberries, into a lidded container. I like to use an ice cream container as it’s the perfect size and I can “cut” into four portions.
- Mix well, ensuring all powders are blended in.
- Store in the fridge overnight.
- Serve with ¼ of the berries.
- Notes: If it is a little too thick for your liking, microwave for 1 minute before eating.
